Suan Luang Rama IX Park
OpenBangkok's largest public park, in Prawet east of the Udom Suk end of the corridor, created in 1987 for King Rama IX's 60th birthday. Botanical gardens, a large lake and running paths across roughly 200 acres. Open 09:00–17:00 with a small entry fee.

Wat Vachiradhammasathit Worawihan (Wat Thung) วัดวชิรธรรมสาธิตวรวิหาร
Royal temple (worawihan) at the end of Soi Sukhumvit 101/1, founded around 1856 as Wat Thung Sathit and restored from abandonment in 1963. In 1965 King Bhumibol placed it under the patronage of then-Crown Prince Vajiralongkorn, whose name it carries. A ride, not a walk, from BTS.
